Mr. Bouri Sanhouidi takes over from Dr. Benjamin O. Alli following the completion of his six-month assignment to the UNFPA Kenya Office
The UNFPA has appointed Mr. Bouri Jean Victor Sanhouidi as the Officer-in-Charge for the UNFPA Kenya Country Office following the completion of assignment of Dr. Benjamin O. Alli on 30 August 2013.
Mr. Sanhouidi is a native of Burkina Faso. He has had a successful career with the United Nations having joined UNDP in 1985 as Assistant Resident Representative (Program). He has served in several senior positions including UNDP Resident Representative/UN Resident & Humanitarian Coordinator in Niger, DRC, Madagascar and Senegal respectively. His last assignment was UNFPA Representative ad interim (a.i.) with the UNFPA Namibia Country Office.
He holds BSC and MSC degrees in Agricultural Economics both obtained from Laval University, Quebec (Canada).
Mr. Sanhouidi is married with one child.
