The First Inaugural Symposium on Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV) is the first UNFPA-led convening bringing together stakeholders from sub-Saharan Africa to address Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV). The symposium will provide a platform to share knowledge, research, and data on TFGBV; strengthen regional collaboration; showcase innovative and survivor-centred approaches; analyze gaps and emerging trends; and foster partnerships among governments, UN agencies, civil society, tech actors, academia, and activists to advance coordinated action against TFGBV across Africa.
