The year 2024 marks the third year of UNFPA Kenya’s 10th Country Programme, implemented in partnership with the Government of Kenya. It has been a year defined by both progress and resilience as we worked to realize significant milestones in advancing the rights, health, and well-being of women, adolescents, and youth across the country.

We have continued to make significant progress in advancing sustainable access to modern family planning and life-saving maternal health services, empowering young people, and eliminating gender-based violence and harmful practices, including female genital mutilation. Guided by the UNFPA Strategic Plan and Kenya’s Vision 2030, our commitment remains unwavering to ensure that no one is left behind, especially the most vulnerable populations.

The achievements highlighted in this report are a testament not only to the dedication of our partners but also to the courage and resilience of communities across Kenya. These milestones would not have been possible without the steadfast support of our donors and stakeholders. While challenges persist, our resolve is stronger than ever- to ensure that every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe, and every young person’s potential is fulfilled.
